Mark Brennan is excited to be a part of the Modern Golf Team. He brings with him 7 years of PGA of Ontario award winning academy experience. Insight into Mark’s passion and love for golf may be seen through his favourite quote from the great, late Arnold Palmer; “Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated; it satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect. It is at the same time rewarding and maddening – and it is without a doubt the greatest game mankind has ever invented.” Mark has been a strong athlete and competitor his entire life in many disciplines of sport and games. He demonstrates a well-rounded knowledge of both art and science and how they blend together in golf. The Stratford native is a self-taught player who believes in being a student for life; he practices this in coaching, music, other sports and ambidexterity. Mark believes in coaching strong fundamental knowledge and techniques, combined with perspective, to produce long term growth and awareness. He has headed junior programs under 2 award winning academies, and specializes in mentoring youth golfers to reach their potential. Mark knows what it takes to compete at a high level, he captured a tournament victory his first year as a professional, along with an OCAA Provincial silver medal for men’s doubles badminton. Mark truly enjoys his life’s work and loves to share his passion with others.

Brad comes to Modern Golf with 15 years of coaching experience with a focus on Junior Golf. After joining the PGA of Canada in 2003 he started his career at Diamondback Golf Club before being recruited to join the acclaimed Glen Abbey Golf Academy. He quickly became the Head Junior Golf Coach for all competitive golfers under the age of 15 and grew the program into a large group of competitive and recreational athletes. During this time he started working with the CJGA development teams boasting some of the best junior golfers in Canada. Brad travelled with these teams to International team competitions across the U.S. as well as to Scotland, where they won the Euro Cup. His desire to see kids develop and grow as golfers and also learn about life skills along the way has made his program a success. Brad has a wide client base of adults, which have gone on to hold club championship titles. His easy going personality and love for the game has helped him get to where he is today. His own development as a player has brought him his own challenges when competing on the Ontario PGA tournament circuit where he still learns the ins and out of tournament golf.
